The Largest Indoor Slide Park in the U.S. Is Opening This Month — Everything to Know

Washington D.C.-area thrill-seekers will have a massive new attraction to check out when the largest indoor slide park in the United States opens this weekend.

Slick City Action Park, a franchise of all-ages, indoor recreation venues that combine huge slides with go-karts and mini golf, is opening its newest location in Woodbridge, Va. on Saturday, June 13.

The company's newest venue — also its largest — is set to span more than 70,000 sq. ft. and will feature 16 slides, like the “Mega Launch” and “Royal Flush,” alongside the “Mini Motors” go-karts, a multiuse air court and 10-hole mini golf course.

The location will even feature a dedicated area for the littlest adrenaline junkies. The zone, specifically designed for ages 5 and under, features a Junior Jungle, Web Crawler, and mini slides for an age-appropriate place to explore.

When the park opens, it will host a variety of events including sensory hours, adults-only nights, homeschool socials and a “Little Sliders Club,” according to the website. Pricing starts at $29.99 for 90 minutes and $35.99 for 120 minutes. A pair of “CitySocks” are required for $4.99 a pair.

According to local outlet Prince William Times, the location has been under construction for over a year. It occupies the space formerly occupied by a Buy Buy Baby at the Potomac Mills shopping center. Slick City was founded in 2021 and partnered with Slick Slide Co. to design and manufacture its one-of-a-kind attractions. The St. Louis and Nashville-based company opened its first location in Denver in 2022.
