Lindale, Texas – Popular East Texas shopping and entertainment destination, The Cannery Lindale, has announced that Springhill Suites by Marriott at The Cannery will formally break ground Wednesday, June 3, 2020, at 10 a.m. The upscale hotel will feature 89 spacious and stylish suites and be located adjacent to The Cannery and Darden Harden Park. The hotel is projected to open in June 2021.
“We are thrilled to have such a fine hotel as part of the experience at The Cannery,” said Chad Franke, co-owner of The Cannery Lindale. “Springhill Suites offers a variety of amenities and will give our patrons an enjoyable place to stay while attending various Cannery events, as well as provide the community with a flexible meeting and event space that can be rented for business and social gatherings.”
As the state of Texas reopens the hospitality industry, The Cannery continues to move forward with its 2020 expansion with the addition of several new restaurants, including Wing Dingers, Jojo’s Rock Hard Ice Cream, and Root’s Coffee Co., as well as the Cooperative Teachers Credit Union, all which are scheduled to open summer 2020.
