Fort Worth (Tarrant County) — A request is pending before the Fort Worth Zoning Commission at its Wednesday session to create a planned development to include a hotel use next to the Victory Shops at Heritage Trace.
In other business, the commission will be considering a multifamily planned development in Meadowbrook.
The developer, Victory Real Estate Group, broke ground last year on the 24.4 acre commercial development. The shopping center is nearly complete and will include 12 buildings.
The applicant of record is Victory at Heritage LLC and the site location is 9835 Chloe Creek Drive, a newly constructed street that is south of Bald Mountain Road and west of Interstate 35 West.
Dallas-based Victory Group proposes to build a four-story hotel on a 2.81-acre tract. According to the site plan, it will have 117 guest suites and surface parking for 130 vehicles.
The building has a footprint of 21,181 square feet. The total square footage was not mentioned, however, Yogesh Patel and Sonal Desai began construction in January on a similar project about a mile north (11100 North Freeway at Golden Triangle Boulevard); that is a $7.5 million, four-story Holiday Inn with a gross square footage of 73,028 SF, and is scheduled for completion April 30, 2020.
Victory Group’s project is named Heritage A&M Hotel. The architect is Type-Six Design and Development of Arlington. The civil engineer is Kirkman Engineering LLC of Grapevine.
