Construction is underway on a new, 150-room Hotel Indigo in Irving, Texas, scheduled to open in 2023. The property will offer 3,300 square feet of meeting space.
All guest rooms at the new IHG hotel will feature canal views, and there will be a 90-seat, full-service restaurant and bar. The design, developed by Type Six, also includes an infinity-edge swimming pool and a fitness center. The meeting space will consist of a ballroom and a boardroom.
“Irving’s Las Colinas development was built on the principles of ‘placemaking’ and the addition of this Hotel Indigo, a brand distinct to its neighborhoods and communities, is a perfect addition to the Irving landscape," said Maura Gast, executive director of Visit Irving. "The evolution of our entertainment district has allowed Irving to provide the perfect complement for living, working, visiting and playing. With the Toyota Music Factory, Water Street and the Mandalay Canal just steps from this new Hotel Indigo, IHG Hotels & Resorts has secured a very attractive location for visitors to Irving.”
Hotel Indigo is an upscale boutique brand with 128 hotels now open around the world and an additional 110 under development.
